Shirt Mis-sized, Run Very Small
The sizes all seemed to be a size too small, which left me with a lot of shirts that I couldn't use. The smalls were extra small, the mediums were small, and so on. Disappointed that a more expensive product

The shirts are solid! They're not the kind of soft that you get from tech companies who want to suck up to potential employees, but they're pleasant to touch and light enough that they won't be heavy or restrictive in humid weather. The small fits me perfectly right now, which I think means they're pretty true to size--though I haven't washed it much yet, so I don't know if it'll stay that way.

The fabric is a good quality, fairly soft and neither too flimsy nor stiff and bulky. The fact that the Small was a little smaller than I expected was actually a good thing for me, as I prefer a more fitted style than I often find. It is good to be aware ahead of time that the printing process leaves a slight vinegary smell that's there until the first washing. I ordered shirts for an event and had to wear them the day they arrived, so I didn't have time to wash them---it wasn't overwhelming, but it was noticeable. Overall I'm super happy with the shirts.

I'm trying out Gildan as an alternative to the more expensive American Apparel, especially for smaller print runs. So far, the shirts are fairly comparable, but seem slightly less soft and a bit thinner. I've only worn one once so far though, and have yet to wash it.
